Immediate Implant

Immediate Implant

Can the implant be placed when the tooth is pulled out?

When tooth extraction is planned, prosthesis planning for the gap that will occur should be done at the beginning of the treatment. There are many advantages to planning early. For example, implants can be placed during the tooth extraction session. This procedure is called “immediate (instant) implantation”  The extraction socket serves as a guide for the placement angle of the implant and we can better mimic the patient’s extracted natural tooth with the prosthesis to be made on the implant.

Can temporary teeth be made as soon as the implant treatment is done?

After implant treatment, at least 2.5-3 months are expected for permanent prosthesis application on the implants. In some cases, it can also be performed immediately after implant surgery by applying an “immediate (instant) loading” protocol. Thus, patients do not remain toothless and get their temporary dentures immediately after the implant is made

What are the Advantages of (Immediate) Implant Application?

Speech problems caused by dental deficiencies can be regulated in a short period of time.

Problems with eating functions can be partially eliminated after the first session of treatment and completely eliminated after the placement of permanent prostheses.

Aesthetic appearance can be adjusted in a short time and can provide a significant change in self-confidence.

With most of the treatment completed in a single session, it can make it easier for people with limited time to access an ideal treatment.
