What isLaminate Veneer?

Leaf porcelain laminate application is an application made without cutting by thinning the front faces of the crowns by only 0.3 to 0.7 mm. This is a procedure that causes minimal loss of intact tooth tissue. Porcelain dental laminates are glued to the thinned area.

Porcelain laminate application is preferred in the following cases:

  1. If the teeth are severely discolored or whitening procedures do not produce results.
  2. To correct the shape of structurally unwell teeth.
  3. To close the gaps in the mouth, especially when joining separated teeth.
  4. For repairing broken or worn teeth.
  5. To correct the color and structure of obsolete fillings or teeth.
  6. To correct the curved structure of the teeth. In such cases, porcelain laminated sheets are commonly used.
